Can Muslims provide understanding why these incidents are happening in Cairo?

Just because someone's a Muslim doesn't mean they're a good one. These things are ridiculous. Live and let live. These things make me sad. And these get so much more attention. There's been an acid attack at my Masjid. There's been graffiti on Masjids. There's been vandalism of Muslim homes and property. I was attacked. No one cares about fellow human beings anymore. EVERY PERSON has a soul. Why people can't respect that.... It's a mystery to me. My brain just doesn't work that way.
