What does it mean when im having sex with a guy and he says, ''tell me you love me''?

we have been "booty buddies'' for a month now, im married but on my way to a divorce..i had a conversation with this guy about 2 weeks ago when we were arguing bout something and thinking we were done i told him ''i dont know how it happened but i do love u'' and his response was i really am flattered..he said a few weeks ago that hes not ready for a relationship, but a few nites ago we had sex for the first time since my lil confession and thats when he said while having sex, ''tell me you love me''..my response was ''is this a trick question''..he said ''just say it'' so i did..not sure if he said it back my mind was blown!!!!!!!
