I accidentally smashed a jar onto this girl's head?

This happened at school and she is just a friendly acquaintance.The jar is a small glass one..and I was shaking it to see how dry the glue was in it and it accidentally fell off my hands and hit the girl who was right besides me sitting down. Her injury is not very much serious. She was bleeding for a little bit right above the fore head, it was not much damage though but I felt very bad. I could not feel satisfied by just saying sorry and apologizing with excuses! Later today, she asked me to give her a gift. I wont be seeing her next school year because she is moving but we are not really close friends. Tonight I decided to give her a candy pack (Gum) with an apology message which had a drawing of hello kitty and other random doodles to make her feel better. I also decided to add a little bracelet as it will serve as a gift but I think this is going too far. The bracelet is not too expensive..its those $1 dollar decorative kinds..but maybe this is becomming too friendly? I dont want anyone to see any suspicion that I maybe trying to pull a 'move' to go beyond the level of friends. SHOULD I GIVE HER THE BRACELET as well? im a guy btw. SHOULD ALL THIS BE DONE just over a bleeding scratch on the head? and thank god she has not told anyone about her injury..
