Does dying your hair blonde from brown damage it? (ppl with experience regarding this are extremely helpful!)?

I say A. because you probly bleach it. And that is horrible for your hair but I don't really have room to talk because I also bleach my hair but my hair is as soft as its ever been... I've had no problem with it.
