Why do you have to be 21 or over to see a concert at motor city casino?

i heard cheap trick was coming on 15 juy, and i am DYING to go!! i'm 14 years old, and i LOVE cheap trick! parents agreed to buy us until i saw you have to be 21 or over, even though i'm not going to be anywhere near the game area! so my uestion is, why?
