Were Ares and Hermes friends?

In Greek mythology, Hermes rescued Ares when Ephialtes and Otos (Otus) trapped him in an urn for a lunar year (roughly a month). Also, was Artemis a "friend" of Ares? She tricked the Aloadae (Otus and company) into killing each other.
