What tricks are there for a stubborn 2 year old as far as potty training?

My 2 almost 3 year old has gone back and forth as far as potty training goes. Ive done the cheerios in the toilet, sticker chart, asking him every 15 mins. None of that worked. he still went back to peeing in his pull up. Right now i am using starburst candies and either he is naked or in underwear. He is doing ok with it but not great, the candy still doesnt motivate him to tell anyone when he has to go to the bathroom. And he will not poop in the toilet! HELP ME, my first son was easy I was done with him in 2 weeks.
