How do I file my Baltimore City marriage license?
I picked up my marriage license from the Baltimore City courts the other day, and I was given a green sheet of paper labeled Certificate of Marriage, Return Copy, Official Certification, a white paper that's labeled Marriage License with a tear-away portion at the bottom that says "this license is for the authorized official's record," and a third piece of paper: a certificate with a decorative border, labeled Certificate of Marriage. What does my officiant mail back to Baltimore City after the marriage? The green page also has a tear-away section. I was also given a large envelope with a clear front, as if to display the certificate, and a business-sized envelope pre-addressed to the court, but the directions on the envelope are cut off...Any help would be great! The guy in the office was really unfriendly and didn't explain anything, and I called the office but never got called back (no surprise). My officiant's not from Baltimore City so she's not sure what she's supposed to do either.
