What can I do with a bag of sand?

I got this bag of sand from an Earth Science kit this year, and we get to keep it. I'm thinking of using it for a decorative thing in my room, but I don't know what I'm looking for exactly. I want it to be really cool, but doesn't involve a lot of time. Any ideas, i'd love them. Thanks :)
